Postscript Letter from the Editors

You probably noticed that we鈥檝e completely redesigned our magazine: 香蕉视频U is now The Cardinal. Why the new (or old, if you鈥檙e familiar with the yearbook) name? As we rolled out the University鈥檚 new branding this past year, with the tagline 鈥淟ead with Light,鈥 we took the opportunity to reevaluate and refresh all our communications.

We want this publication to be an extension of our campus, a space for elevated conversation 鈥 between alumni and students, the University and the larger world. And we want to give you something beautiful, a product that deserves its place on your coffee table and that you鈥檒l want to share with family and friends.

We are incredibly grateful to our colleagues at Journey Group who guided us through this process. Their respect for our mission and attention to beautiful design are evident in these pages.

In keeping with the theme of this fall 2024 edition 鈥 overcoming disconnection 鈥 the process of a new approach to content has connected us more than ever to members of
our community.

As we take The Cardinal to new heights, we invite you to join the conversation, and to help build the community through which 香蕉视频 University continues to grow. We invite you to take pride in the work we are doing and get involved in practical ways:

鈼   Contribute to our research initiatives, as Joe Yost invites you on p. 38.

鈼   Take part in our ongoing Advancement initiatives like #GivingTuesday (coming soon on December 3) and Founders Day (April 10, 2025). There鈥檚 also the new Cardinal Ambassador program, a way you can share the good news about our University with potential students, fellow parishioners, and your larger communities.

鈼   Email us feedback on this redesigned magazine! What resonated with you?

We look forward to collaborating with you and exploring ideas in future editions!

Change is constant but transformation is intentional. We invite you to help us write the next chapter of the Cardinal legacy.   鈥 Editors
